About Me

Hello, my name is Miriam L. Sullivan and I am honored you have found your way here.

I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) and bicultural Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I received my Master’s in Clinical Psychology with a Specialization in Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have been providing therapeutic services to individuals and families for 18 years.

In your journey towards healing and growth, it is important that you feel safe and comfortable with the therapist you choose to work with.

I strongly believe, that in order to optimize the benefits of the therapeutic process, there needs to be a genuine sense of trust and nonjudgmental guidance and support.

I have been fortunate to work in a variety of settings and with a variety of populations which allowed me to gain extensive experience in areas related to abuse, trauma, parenting, communication, relationship/marital issues, depression, anxiety, and immigration/acculturation. I also acquired a special interest in working with first responders and their families.

After 18 years in the field, I am proud to say that I continue to love what I do and I am excited to have extended my practice to service the Village of Herscher and surrounding communities.

-Miriam
